Buddy's Beer Barn was opened in May of 2002 by husband and wife team, Pat and Doug Barker - the Buddys. The big Red Barn located at 10150 Montana (between McRae and Yarbrough) once was the home of Black's Nursery almost 30 years ago.  Born in Texas of military parents, both grew up in Northeast  El Paso.  The drive through is just what it advertises - drive through the building for the best selection of beer from here to Austin and north to Albuquerque and the kind of personal service your parents grew up with.  Buddy's Beer Barn offers the best selection of lagers, ales and malt liquors, import and domestic, in El Paso.  When fully stocked with all available brands, we number over 300 varieties.  Buy it singly, by the six pack or case.  Call us to help plan special occasions.

A visit to the Beer Barn will present a dilemma: is this a beer store with stuff or a stuff store with beer?  Look around - if you see something you like, ask.  It might be for sale.  If not, make them an offer they can't refuses.

Thrift Store - On line thrift store.  If it peaks your interest, come on in, take a look. and let's "make a deal!"

 

Beer List  -  Under Texas law, what we are able to have in our store..  Availability lies with the distributors.  Law says I can only buy what's offered.  This we have no control.  We can not special order any beer that is not on a distributors list.  (No internet ordering allowed which is good for my customers 'cause I'm sure I'd get greedy!  Character defect!  Texas law at work to protect you and keep me under control!)
Whiskey Shed - No, not just whiskey!  We consider all distilled spirits as whiskey (American spelling)! It's a small shoppe, but we have the basics: vodka, brandy, schnapps, ttequila, bourbon, etc.  Specialtiy liquors, we'll order.  We buy mostly single bottles and replace them as they are sold.
Wine Shoppe- Best kept secret in El Paso for wine officianados.  Not the wine you'll find in Albertson's.  We were (are) clueless about  wine, but opportunity presented itself when our local distrbutor offered us a semi full of wine, whiskey and beer at an good price to alleviate inventory woes.  Oldest bottle: 1993..
